Thanks for putting this up. Mari kita boikot ramai2, this is the second time that the Dutch has insulted our religion, its time to really fight back and make them feel where it hurts. I'm quite a loyal user of Shell, sebab nak bayar cepat, pam attendan dia datang collect duit instead of kene gi counter. But after this, back to Petronas lah nampaknya. Sokonglah barangan buatan Malaysia :D.
Pls dont be naive. Who compiled this list? Did you know that Netherland is the largest exporter of Halal food via it's Port of Rotterdam. It is the gateway to Europe. In this globalised era, pls dont fall victim to politicians and their feeble minded idealistic mind. FYI, which country is the largest exporter of halal beef? Its Brazil, a country with where the majority are Christians.

OK, first we have to get the facts straight. I remember reading one article about Denmark being the biggest exporter of Halal food. The issue was brought up since there was a cartoon of our beloved prophet.
So, which facts are true?

Whose the naive person, please think producing halal meat does not mean supporting halal food. Itá all because of money, that's why we need to do this. You can not ignore the facts. Anyway, if a muslim country/people control the halal market, are'nt we suppose to feel more secure
Have you seen a halal pig sold in Canada. Just because a muslim slaughter their animal doesn't mean any slaughtering is halal, also even the animal is non halal. I have been oversea for almost 13 years, every aspect of Islam was distorted and all lies about Islam prevails .
So do not give me the crap about these countries ar nice to you. As long as yoú are Muslim, you cannot be trusted. If you are leaving oversea, the way your friend treat you does not mean all people around you have the same feelings towards you. Think about it, your circles of friends are minute compared to the whole society. Anyway do not be anonymous, be frank.. are you afraid of being labeled..

Halal business is worth more than US$100 billion (maybe more) per year and US companies are trying to get into our business.

I'm with you Syarhabil & Adzimi. Even not all the dutch insult Islam, but ignoring the insult is a sign we don't mind what they have done.
I'm not sure of the facts as to whether the Dutch/Denmark are the biggest exporters of halal food. If they really are, God help the muslims. I agree with Syarhabil, can we really trust these producers/ exporters of halal food when they are not even muslims themselves? Isnt the condition of the food being halal in the first place the slaughter must be done by a Muslim? I'd imagine Muslims in those countries must be kaya raya dah, yerlah, when they are minority, in a country yg so called the biggest exporter of Halal food, sapa lagi yg dok menyembelih kalau bukan diorang kan? But is that really true? Sorry, just having some doubts here. As for boycotting the Dutch products, yes i know not all Dutch people are like that, tapi sampai bila kita umat Islam nak mendiamkan diri? If we can do something, we do something about it. Hurting them most where it hurts i.e. economically, and causing these companies to sue that stupid guy will make the rest think a million times again before coming out with another stupid and controversial statement/video insulting our beloved Islam.
Adzimi, each country has their own Muslim Council which sets up their own Halal Committee. They monitor and gives the Halal Certificate to the companies in their respective countries. Just like our JAKIM. For halal meat consumed in M'sia that are imported from Australia and NZ, JAKIM reviews the slaughtering process and acknowledge the authencity of the Halal Cert issued by the Muslim Council of Aust and NZ. Note that last year, M'sia stop importing beef from Aust since the abbatoir introduced a process of stunning the stock by electricity before sembelih. I believe this issue has been settled and now M'sia has continued importing from Aust. FYI, just to get your blood boiling, SME bank launched Halal Industry Development (HIDC) which gives out grant of RM25million to support the growth of halal industry. KJ is the chairman of an org called World Halal Forum (WHF). Last year, there were plans to issue a new 'smart' Halal Logo by JAKIM which cannot be cetak rompak and must be put on every product that is Halal in M'sia. A company that is a member of WHF made this suggestion. The CEO of this company was none other than Nori (KJ's wife).....

Ok, i'm not interested to talk about KJ today. So lets put that aside. But this still brings back to my earlier question. If really these daging2 and ayam2 sembelihan is Halal, from those countries, why have we not heard of big Halal industry tycoons coming out of those countries (Denmark, brazil, Netherlands)? After all, these 'tycoons' should be dominating right, since there's a small number of Muslims in those countries. I can understand if its in small numbers, then logical lah, cuma tak masuk akal if to say Netherlands/Denmark can be the biggest exporter of Halal food. Again, how the hell do you do that (become the biggest Halal food exporter) when there's not enough Muslims to go around in your country? I may sound stupid for asking this, so hopefully someone intelligent can help me answer this.

Netherland is the exporter BUT they are not producer. Netherland is not that big ...daging utk depa pun tak cukup..kena import..apatah lagi nak produce AND export...Netherland is like S'pore la..as simple as that.
Personally I totally agree with our friends if you want to boycott the products from the Dutch companies but I do not think it will make a significant economical impact to them UNLESS ALL muslim in the world which is about 1.3billion united and say their word.
KJ..tak payah la sebut..buat malu aje..buat jatuh maruah muslim..
