Minyak gamat? Aku ingatkan nak jual crude oil tadi...
Bersalin kat mana pun tak tahu lagi, mungkin kat KB la kot. Apa2 pun dok pikir2 berapalah agaknya cost kalau kena ceasar ni.
Mat Yie, kalau private hospital, i think expect around 5 to 7k kot for Caesar saja. Kalau wife ko memang dah awal2 tau kene caesar, just opt for it, takyah nak try2 beranak normal, coz kena charge jugak. My wife went through all the stages, from inducing, to trying for normal birth, to Caesar, so the charges also reflects all three stages ler! Tapi takperlah, the thought of looking at your baby for the first time..priceless. I can still remember the first time i looked at her, its like falling in love all over again, and its legal!
Mat Yie, my frank opinion is: Most(not all) private hospital in Malaysia will try as much as possible to persuade the expecting mother to undergo Caesarean, eventhough there is no strong indication for it. As for layman, memang senang kena 'ayat' dgn obstetrician, coz the final outcome(baby) is the most important thing.But bare in mind that if u compare a normal vaginal delivery vs Caesarean, there are more complications associated with Caesarean, being both during surgery, as well as post-partum period.
Why?..The reason is simple: $$$
Kenapa kau expect for Caesarean? Is it b4 this yr wife had delivered by Casarean? For one scar, the mother can still proceed with normal vaginal delivery(Trial of Scar).The Obstetrician will decide. Well, about the cost, definately if u go to the so-called high class/5 stars hospital like SJMC/Gleaneagles/Damansara, it will cost u a bomb! The hospitals under KPJ should be a sensible choice.
