GLOOMY TIME TO BE A GEORDIE...

This is the worst time to be a Geordie... What is geordie I head you asked.

A Geordie is someone who born in Northumberland district, north of England. That includes Newcastle upon Tyne (Home of Newcastle United. There is one place called Newcastle under Lyme around midland area), Sunderland and Middlesbrough. When they speaks, nobody understand. For Liverpool area, they are called scouser (if you can understand what Jamie Carragher says, then you can say you are a scouser!! hahahahaha)

From the performance this weekend, I do not see Newcastle and Middlesbrough will avoid relegation. Mind you Newcastle has one of the biggest stadium in Premier League after Manchester United and Arsenal (Even bigger than Chelsea!). However their players are way past their best. Just look at their first eleven player. Mark Viduka, Michael Owen, Damien Duff, Nicky Butt & Alan Smith do not pulling their weight. Since Kevin Keegan left Newcastle (for the first time after the famous 'i love it, love it' bust up between him and Fergie) Newcastle suffered centre backs curse, if I can say that. The experienced players also injured most of the time. Michael Owen played two games and injured for 5 games. Today against Liverpool, Newcastle players look lost.

Middlesbrough has a different problem. They do not have stars but players bought by Southgate are not performing. I would say maybe Tuncay has earn his worth at the club although most of the new players suffered inconsistency issue.

For Newcastle the biggest problem starts when Keegan forced to leave the club by the new owner Mike Ashley. He tried to sell the club but unable to do so with Newcastle in the relegation battle. His wealth was to be believe shrunk from 10 billion to 200 million after his sport's chain store shares slump tremendously.

I just wonder what will happen to the high paid players if Newcastle really playing second division next year...
