A cup of warm water mix with quarter teaspoon of salt. Gargle deep to your tonsil and spit.
When I finished, I felt less irritation on my tonsil. I was able to sleep the whole night without any disturbant.
Secondly, get a cup of warm water + one slice of ginger + half lemon + two spoonful of honey. Drink it and it will clear your throat.
Do it twice to thrice a day and it will reduce irritation on your coughing and swollen tonsil (at one point I cant speak loudly because it will hurt my tonsil.)
