Daripada Ka'ab Bin Ujrah r.a., beliau berkata bahawa Rasulullah s.a.w. bersabda, "Hadirlah ke mimbar." Maka kami semua pun hadir.

Apabila beliau naik satu anak tangga mimbar, beliau berkata, "amin" dan apabila naik anak tangga yang kedua, beliau berkata "amin" dan apabila beliau naik anak tangga yang ketiga baginda berkata "amin."

Apabila beliau turun, kami telah bertanya, "Ya Rasulullah! Hari ini sesungguhnya kami telah mendengar dari Tuan sesuatu yang belum pernah kami dengar."

Beliau bersabda, "Sesungguhnya Jibril telah muncul kepadaku dan berkata : Binasalah dia yang mendapati Ramadhan tetapi belum juga diampunkan. Maka aku berkata, amin."

Ideas...

I went to Subang Parade on Saturday and there was a sign that caught my attention.

Not exact words, but the sign pointed out that there were numerous times accident happened to adults and kids who are wearing rubber shoes/clogs when using escalator (i.e crocs type shoes/clogs).

So guys and gals, please make sure you take extra careful when approaching escalator if you are wearing one.

On the other note, do you know that the small bits that you can buy to make your clogs look different than others? That particular product is patented by a lady in US. Her children has been wearing this rubber clogs for some time and they are tired of having the same as others. So she made those small bits for her children. After some time, other children wants to have what her children have.

Crocs try to buy her patent, but she refused. So Crocs bought a plant in China with her earning royalty from turnover of small bits of Crocs.

My point is, (and if you read books about creative thing @ ideas) they suggested you write down what you have in mind albeit it is out of this world idea. I remembered Saliza told us (during lunch @ doli), her classmates were discussing on bluetooth idea for walkman during a walk in a park to top Bukit Larut (orientation day, remember?). Wireless from headphone to walkman. Pretty good idea given it was discussed 14 years ago.

Talking about idea, do you know the (i)'telur separuh masak'(/i) gadget, normally in yellow colour? It was patented by a chinese guy who loves to eat (i)'telur separuh masak'(/i). However his wife could not get it right every time she cook it. So he experimented with MILO tin until he found what is today. Amazing!

When I was with my previous company, I learned you have to take extra precaution on patent and trademark. I was informed by my boss that a company in China registered a trademark on my company goods. The best thing is, the licence expired sometime in 2012. What is the complication, you ask. Well my company could not sell our product in China since someone else have the licence of trademark. You have to register the trademark based on country, so you have to spend a lot of money apart from European Country (EC) since you can register under EC constituency.

However you can be an opportunist, There was a boy who registered a website domain called http://www.pamelaanderson.com and got paid loads from Pamela Anderson when she want to purchase that domain name. Later court ruled out that you could not buy a domain name with people name in it if your name is not the same. Scared of paying too much ei??? When tsunami hits Acheh few years back, another boy sold his website domain http://www.tsunamifund.com (or something similar to that) for US$50,000! Opportunist right? He was accused an oppotunist and scumbag

Nowadays marketing idea is as bigger than ever. I remembered I had conversation with representatives from University of Newcastle upon Tyne in Bangsar early this year. A professor from medical faculty told me that mp3 player is not that great invention, and it was created by a group of Newcastle Polytechnic's students years ago. Apple did splendid marketing plan, and now you hear iPod more than other brands.

I hope you see the importance of writing down your ideas and it could be the fortune you are looking for.


p/s - before I finish off the article, here is one very interesting story for all of us. True story in South Africa. A farmer was tired of his low income job he went on search of diamonds (South Africa is the largest exporter of diamonds in the world, and since white people wants to control this gem, they introduce an IC no. on each diamonds to control smugling by native African although they have the right for the gem not the whites!). Ok, back to story, the farmer died without finding a single diamond. The truth is, his land has full of diamonds that de Beers not dare explore such that the diamonds price would shoot down because there were thousands of it underneath the farmer's land. Amazing!!

Chikungunya Virus Outbreak in Malaysia

We have just been alerted that Chikungunya Virus Outbreak in Malaysia, spread by mosquitoes, is quite serious. More than 2,000 people are infected down south. There are claims of unreported deaths. Consult a health-care provider or visit the nearest hospital for chikungunya fever if you showed symptoms such as fever, severe joint pains and rashes. Four states have been hit, i.e. Johor, Malacca, N.Sembilan and Perak. The worst hit is Tangkak, Johor. Almost all elderly people (age 45 years and above) are infected with this virus. Many people who are infected seek treatment from Tangkak Hospital every day. There were times beds were full, and the hospital could not warded them. Therefore they were discharge after a half day treatment in the ward. This epidemic outbreak has persisted for more than three [UTF-8?]months. â–º Below is the chronological of this outbreak.

1. The disease is spread by the foreigner workers in the plantations.
2. Then the 'bugs' are passed down to the local planters, of which, their families are infected eventually.
3. Now people in this town (Tangkak) are infected as well as others in nearby towns and states.

â–º Symptoms of Chikungunya:

1. High fever
2. Rashes
3. Chronic joints pain (which will last for > 3months)
4. Concurrent deaths

â–º Recommendations:

1. Increase ad hoc facilities and manpower in district hospital and clinics.
2. Bring down the population of the vector (mosquitoes).
3. Quarantine the sick people who are infected with this virus.
4. Educate the public how to prevent and contain the disease.

Be careful how you list names on your cell phone! Be Safe!

This lady has changed her habit of how she lists her contacts' names on her mobile phone after her handbag was stolen. Her handbag which contained her mobile phone, Credit card, purse...etc.... was stolen.

20 minutes later when she called her Hubby, from a pay phone telling him what had happened.. Hubby says 'I've just received your sms text asking about our Pin number. I replied a little while ago.'

They rushed down to the bank, the bank staff told them all the money was already withdrawn. The pickpocket had actually used the stolen handphone to text 'hubby' in the contact list and got hold of the pin number. Within 20 minutes he had withdrawn all the money from the bank account.

The lesson: Do not disclose the relationship between you and the people in your contact list. Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby, sweetheart, Sayang...... Dad, Mum etc....... And very importantly, when sensitive info is being asked thru texts, CONFIRM by calling back.

Also, when you're being texted by friends or family to meet them somewhere, be sure to call back to confirm that the message came from them. If you don't reach them, be very careful about going places to meet 'family and friends' who text you.

JOURNEY TO TAIPING.... SPKG 2008

Journey aku balik ke Taiping bermula pada jam 4 petang. Bro Jenab call aku, dia cakap Bro Layoot akan amik aku kat opis. Aku dah siap packing & bawak beg ke opis, so no hal aku nak join sesapa. Bro Layoot amik aku kat Pelita Jalan Ampang & bawak pi rumah dia kat Saujana Utama. Adzimi dah call aku jam 12 tengah hari. Mamat tu dah sampai kat Tepen dengan family & Kamal, Afaf and family. Diorang lepak kat Bukit Merah untuk keriangan anak2 diorang.

On the way to Taiping kitorang ni dok syok bercerita dalam keta, Bro Jenab baru perasan minyak nak abes, tersangatlah kureng minyak sampai lampu amaran tu dok berkelip 24/7. Kacau daun betul la, kena detour masuk kat Tanjung Malim. Jauh gak kena drive dari toll ke stesyen minyak, pastu sambung journey ke Tepen. Aku pun antara ngantuk ngan tak, tetiba Bro Layoot tanya bro jenab, eh ko nye temperature gauge ni memang macam tu ke? hahahha nak jadi cite, keta Bro Jenab nak meletup sebab queue kat toll Ipoh Selatan. Lagi Kacau. Sio2 je aku p Tepen kena tolak keta dari Ipoh ke Tepen....

So through out the journey mata aku dok tengok temperature gauge tu je. Takut2 tetiba berasap keta bro Jenab. Alhamdulillah tuhan nak kasi kami sampai kat Tepen gak. Sampai2 je kat Tepen kami terus p ke bowling arena. Sorry la GPS aku area Tepen kaput big time. yang aku ingat ada wet market kat ground floor, kena naik lift to 4th floor. Kat situ geng2 maktab dah senang lenang layan main bowling. Ada student maktab dari kelab bowling (best siot ada kelab bowling) yg join kitorang. Our Jep Sakedan jadi co-ordinator untuk bowling nih. Mamat ni pun memang boleh tahan main bowling. Average pin 160++

Aku, Jep dan Yana & Adam (anak Yana) balik ke maktab naik bas maktab. Dah takde dah bas buruk kaler biru tu. Now dah jadi bas mcm bas gomen. kaler merah tua. Sampai kat maktab, aku tido kat UO. Tak syok le. Aku ingat kita bley dok kat AB. Anyhow katil & almari dah tukar jadi besi. Maybe sebab anai2 or dah habes kena blasah ngan junior2 kita. Toilet takde la beza sangat apart from pintu toilet yang dah full frame (dulu half frame mcm salon citer koboi) dan sinki berubah rupa sket. Aku pun pi lepak ngan sorang student ni, dia naib presiden BWP merangkap ketua LDP. hahaha pandai gak cikgu2 kita main politik BWP.

Ronda2 kat AB, ada la geng2 form 4 ni layan roti canai. Diorang ajak aku makan, sambil2 tu port la sket. Diorang ni kena tabik bab stadi, ada sorang tu 4 flat 3rd sem. Tapi bab2 buat kerja gila2 ni memang pupus macam dinasour. Aku tanya diorang tau tak pasal cite harun din, diorang tatau. Tanya pasal royal rumble pun tatau, tanya pasal arca pun tatau. Memang cite2 penglipur lara time kita tu dah ditelan zaman. Malam tu aku bukak sket citer2 lama terutama citer ba alip masuk dorm.. hahahha. Aku tido kol 4 pagi. AKu balik UO tengok Bro Jenab nyenyak diulit mimpi. Tak ramai pun yang tido kat maktab, aku ingat berduyun2, rupanya 3-4 kerat je.

Masa aku baru nak masuk tido, aku dah risau kat si Syahid, mcm mana la aku nak amik mamat ni kat Stesen Bas Kamunting? Kol 6:30 pagi si Syahid call aku, siap dia gelak lagi... rupanya dia dah kat surau Maktab baru abes solat subuh. Katanya dia naik teksi. Aku ngan Syahid pastu p ronda2 maktab, tengok area maktab yang memang berubah gile. Bukit sebelah AB dah ditoreh (time kita baru nak start). Ada quarters cikgu & pekerja kat blakang. Tu yang aku rasa student tepen tak brani buat jahat. Takde lagi meriam buluh mcm time kita dulu2. On the way nak p kawasan akademik ada student tegur, bang takmo p makan breakfast ke, ada nasi lemak kuning... nasi lemak kuning? diorang pakai istilah tu untuk cornflakes. Macam2 la diorang nih.

Pagi tu start program SPKG. Time tu dah ramai geng2 kita yg sampai. Ada Haq dari Tanjung Malim, Jep Sakedan dari Penang, Syahid dari JB, DJ dari Baling, Dari KL ada Amy, Yana, Izwan Hasli, Adzimi, Kamal & Afaf. Amy & Yana mmg sibuk. Yang lain tu? kami dok kat luar borak2, gelak2, terkenang kisah lalu & dok pikir pasal aktiviti bukak puasa kat KL. Saliza datang untuk dinner sebab MRSM BP (hubby dia) pun ada jubli perak gak that weekend.

Malam Sabtu tu ada dinner. Marvellous. Susah nak explain with words, korang kena p sendirik. The food tu takde la power sangat, tapi the idea of getting together tu yang best. Dan yang lagi best, meeting after dinner sambil layan durian. Mula2 semua mcm takmo je, tapi lepas si Jep Sakedan mengetuai batalion utk amik durian, melantak tak ingat geng2 kita. Banyak sangat nak tulis kat sini kalau aku nak buat minutes meeting. Again, korang kena join time tu utk rasa the thrills and frills of the moment.

The following day ingat nak pekena kuew tiaw doli ngan kengkawan, tapi sebab ramai yang dah family & family commitment, saliza, izwan hasli, aku, yana & amy yang join lunch sebelum kami bertolak ke KL. Aku ngan Yana tumpang Amy since Bro Jenab main tebas rumput..hehhee. Kat situ la keluar terms kobis. thanks for the memories guys..

Kitorang sampai ke KL around 3 petang... Next year, aku akan kejar sorang2 p SPKG. Chalos!!!

This movie shoots only in one room (like phone booth movie, I guess they got the idea through this movie). 12 men were chosen to be jury to murder cases. Great acting by Henry Fonda.

"KayJayed" - meaning: To shout for no reason i.e. He kayjayed in the Dewan and appeared like a moron

"Balaed" - meaning: To vanish suddenly i.e. They opposition balaed from the meeting in protest

"Lingamed" - meaning: To repeat redundantly i.e. The Information Minister lingamed the same rubbish in the debate recently.

"Soileked" - meaning: To be caught on tape i.e. People have stopped using budget hotels as they are afraid of being soileked.

A short Malaysian fiction:
Altantuya was cold bloodedly najibbed after she attempted to petra Najib for anwarising her and not making the promised payments. Razak was badawized into covering up for Najib, while Najib balaed from the scene. Razak was actually anwarized. However Najib lingamed that he had nothing to do with it and has been kayjaying on the topic in an attempt to prove his innocence.

Nevertheless, some quarters have been threatening that they have soileked evidence that Najib was involved.

Preview EPL.. Chelsea

Right after EPL finished last season, Chelsea sacked their manager Avram Grant and later in July they hire the vibrant Scolari, fresh from his mission in Swiss with Portugese team in Euro 08.

Chelsea already bought Jose Bosingwa, right back from Portugal to tighten the weakest position in Chelsea team last season. Paulo Ferreira was injured most of the season and Belleti does not really set the fire alight with his chances. I guess one of them will be signing with european team soon (transfer ends midnight 31 August 2008).

Joining one of them, could be Shaun Wright Phillips who also struggle to hold his place with resurgence of Michael Ballack and Joe Cole last year. Michael Essien and Frank Lampard are almost guaranteed their place in midfield thus leaving two or three position left (depending on manager plays sole or strike partner).

Obviously fans are interested to know how Scolari can accomodate Lampard and Ballack together in heart of midfield. Towards the end of last season, Ballack blossoms under his favourite role but without Lampard who was injured. It seems Grant failed to get the tactic right when both are on the field.

Hernan Crespo has been released by Chelsea after spending two seasons on loan in Italy. Although he played few matches for the blues but his strike rate was phenomenal. However he suffered from 'tinkering' by Ranieri and also tinkering by his wife. His wife does not like London. Being family man, he followed his wife to Italy for sunny mediteranian.

My prediction? EPL will be very tight between Chelsea and Manchester United. United has very good second string players who can replace the first team player. Liverpool still has a lot to learn especially how to deal with away games matches. It seems Rafa was tinkering too much and put Ranieri the creator of the word tinkering in football into shame. It was the pressure from media and fans for him not to tinker with his team for consecutive 100 times! Wow... I hope Rafa learned something last sesaon.

Arsenal in the mean time is very good team with thin squad. One more thing, Arsenal do not win ugly. Obviously you want to win pretty, but some of the time you have to win it ugly. They want to walk the ball into the net and you can hear fans crying 'shoot, shoot, shoot' when Arsenal player have the ball just outside penalty box.

Totenham? They bought wholesale last year, few years back and still doing it now. They could not hold on to their price asset and I guess they are doing the job they always do, rebuilding. If Modric do well this season, I could see him playing the big four.

Champion League? I could not see another two English clubs playing in the final, and Real Madrid has a knack of getting into final once a while, so Real Madrid vs. Chelsea in the final.

FA Cup? Chelsea vs. Manchester United. Classic competition with classic performance.

Devil's fan must doubt about Scolari credential, but Fergie is quirking in his pants claiming Chelsea would not be title contender. Let's the game begin!!

The pitch presented a few problems of its own, with erratic bounce. On such unusual hop left Wayne Bridge floundering as they nearly opened the scoring.

Nicolas Anelka scored again and looked quick to get in behind and Ashley Cole controlled neatly and finished well for the other.

The real bright moment could have given the game away on a set piece play ahead of the season, as Lampard chipped across a free-kick for Deco to volley from twenty meters, their keeper did well but the technique on show was breath taking; from Lampard to set it up perfectly, and from Deco to hit the target with the shot, top class.
