ISA... good or bad?
government has used ISA to detain HINDRAF's and BERSIH leaders based on security and safety issue.

Since Malaysia is unique(multiracial, multireligion,bla bla), I think ISA should be there, forever...The only thing is when & to whom the ISA is being implemented..
No comment about BERSIH..
But, as for HINDRAF, I do support 200% the move to arrest them under ISA.
If u guys still in cloud about the main objective of HINDRAF memo, I am more than happy to tell u that the main driving factor is about MONEY.
Kepala-kepala HINDRAF ni ialah pro.Indian..i.e LAWYERS.
Nak mintak 4 trillion pound sterling..katakan dapat jumlah tu, how much do u think these lawyers get as their "service charge"..That will enough to list their names in Forbes.
Sorry to say, but MAJORITY of Indian community that had been brought here by British were Parias. The British never forced them to come here.They chosed to come to Tanah Melayu since they were extremely poor, being a Parias in India.Homeless, jobless, unkept, stink, name it! They were happy, voluntarily board the ship to Malaya, to work in rubber estate..So, majority of Indian community in Malaysia nowadays are originally from the common ancestor, the Parias! Then, they are so successful here, become a professional, businessman, etc etc---so what the hell with the claimed of "ethnic cleansing"???
Being a Parias, no matter how much grandious achievement they have collected throught their stay in Malaysia, but their Parias instict&behaviour are very much intact! Making a lot of noise, arrogant, and not properly well dressed..
Only minority of Indian in Malaysia are from higher caste..the Brahmin..Their ancestors either came to Malaya as a traders or being brought here by British as a keeper/mandur, to look after the Parias who are working in the rubber estate..Some of them are being called Ceylonese..(from Ceylon)..They are the Indian which have fair complexion..and sometimes don't ever speaks Tamil..(their mother tounge either Hindustan or English).
They(HINDRAF) have submitted their memorandum to the India..to TAMIL NAIDU minister to be exact..Nahh..do u think those people in India will listen to their grouse??? Other than they have to maintain their international policy with Malaysia goverment, their main reason of being ignorant towards this issue is because they don't even bother to those Parias!..They know the history, the fact that these rats were originally Parias, who had migrated for a better living...And they know exactly the Paria's mind..
Arrest those Pariah lawyers as long as u wish, my dearest goverment...
No i dont agree with ISA being used against Hindraf leaders. Yes, the demands that Hindraf made may seem extreme, but they are not using violent means, and merely exercising their right under the constitution. There are other ways to stop or charge them, but making false accusations and then slap them with cruel ISA is not the way, its just taking the easy way out rather than handling the root issue. Wipe out your enemy and scare everybody, end of story. Thats the way to handle dissatisfaction? And calling the indians Parias and telling them that they deserve this is also not the way to handle this issue. After 50 years of independence, why are we still thinking that this country is only for Malays? This is Malaysia, and it is for Malaysians, everybody who is born in Malaysia are Malaysians and have the right to voice out their concern. Just because your great great grandparents or grandparents used to come from a different country, does that make you lesser a Malaysian? How much really do you contribute to your country versus these 'other' Malaysians? Can you really prove that you're more Malaysian than them? They are protecting their own community's interest, similar like how Malays protect ours. Funny that its okay for us Malays to wave our keris and threathen to bath it with blood demi 'ketuanan Melayu', but its not okay for other races to speak up peacefully. Even funnier, this is happening when our country is already 50 years old.
And by the way, realistically Hindraf knows that they will not even get the money that they requested for. As i understand it, it is merely a symbol and asking the Queen to intervened was due to them not trusting the government anymore coz as usual, nothing will be done.
For me ISA is just plain evil. If you look back at the history of ISA, the act was implemented by British to clamp down on Communist.
I could not say much about that, but at this age people are taken away without reason. That's to me the most cruel part. Just wonder what happened to a family when the father is taken away and the family is depending on him to get food on the table. The charge(s) normally very general. The core of the reason is regarding security of the nation.
Since there are no need for proof and evidence, then government use this tool to capture innocent lives and put them to jail.
How can we have a fair judicial when people can be arrested without trial. I still believe the motto, innocent until proven guilty which abode well with our rights to defend ourselves and not just following others.
