Actually aku yg forwardkan soalan tu kat Ihsan. What happened was my maid quit after 1 week working. Katanya rindu nak balik Indon konon. So i returned it back to the agency. Agency cakap, too bad. They said that even if maid tu duduk sehari je, pastu berenti, no refund will be given. This is stated in the agreement. Kalau setakat 100 200 tu bolehlah jugak nak tahan, but i paid RM7000 for this #&@*(%#*($ maid. So bayangkan 7000 melayang begitu je. I suspect this is part of the syndicate. Dia tak provide replacement for free (walaupun aku ambik insurance) because insurance covers ONLY if the maid runs away, which in this case, dia yg taknak keje. Kalau aku nak paksa maid tu 'lari', agency cakap maid boleh pergi embassy, and take action against us pulak. Kalau aku nak replacement maid, they will give it at a 'discounted' rate of around 1500 lagi. Tapi aku kene bayar flight ticket utk maid aku sekarang balik Indon. Korang imagine, dahlah 7k melayang, pastu kene topup 1.5k, pastu kene bayar flight ticket maid tu balik Indon(ini yg paling sakit hati sekali!), tak ke sakit hati tahap gaban? So i've asked around and my next step is to make a police report and file my claim against consumer tribunal (KPDNHEP). Aku call tanya diorang cakap kalau hal2 macam ni boleh challenge in court. So thats what i plan to do next. This is a lesson learnt on consumer rights. Memanglah dalam agreement tulis kalau maid berenti, then nak replace cost is XXXX, but kalau maid tu berenti tak sampai seminggu, shouldnt we as consumer get our refund back. This is really daylight robbery! I'll fight this to the end, so will keep you guys updated ont he story nanti.
A lot of laws protect the maids, but there is not much law protecting the employer. As employers, banyak sangat dah kes kena tipu lah, maid dera anak lah, maid cuai lah etc, tapi bila keluar cerita indon sorang kene dera, heboh sekampung macam orang Malaysia ni tak berhati perut. Soalnya kadang2 bila kita berbaik and layan diorang baik, this is how we get repaid. I've had so much bad experience dealing with them, boleh dikatakan dalam 10, maybe 2 je aku boleh percaya.
OMG!!! Kesiannya kat u, adzimi... harap bersabar yea... Kurang ajar betul la agency tu..meh sini taruh nama dia so dat no one will go to that agency again...
Agency yg aku pergi tu ada 4 cawangan, Agensi Pekerjaan Albest (in USJ Summit), Agensi Pekerjaan Chee (in TTDI), Agensi pekerjaan Mewah (Sri Petaling). Aku tak ingat satu lagi apa nama dia, but they're all under the same owner. They use logo gambar sorang artist Singapore ni ngan anak dia ngan maid kat sebelah tersengih (kononnya endorsed by artist lah).

Boleh tak kita buat camni? If we have their contact number/email... everyone of us can call/send email and complaint about this case. I aras diorang mesti pressure kalau hari2 ada orang complaint. Yelah... It may cost us some money to call/email, tp that's what we can do within our capacity for now. Ni aku jumpa kat google:

Okay just to provide some update. I've managed to get some refund back RM5K, so basically about 1.6K melayang begitu saja. Kalau nak bawak to consumer tribunal 600 memang takleh claim sebab takde resit (this money was for the runner if i want my maid fast i.e. within a month, kalau tak kene tunggu 2 bulan. Korang faham2 je lah mana duit ni pergi). Even people from consumer tribunal say i dont have concrete proof to request for that 600 back. So cuma tinggal 6K yg boleh claim, which my friend has advised maybe i wont get full refund pun sebab selalunya they will deduct some expenses out as well e.g. levy, fomema, maid nyer ticket balik, gaji maid seminggu etc. So me and wife decided to just settle with 5K, malas nak prolong the fight. We just want to move on and quickly get another maid. But lesson well learnt, expensive lesson indeed. Thanks to all for your inputs, it was much appreciated.
for me, aku rasa 5k is enough although org kata 7k is even better. But look on the bright side, aku rasa korang tak expect pun they refunded the money.

Yes i didnt expect them to refund the money except for the gaji maid i.e. 2.5K, because the staff that i was dealing with was so protective of their policy. After speaking to the boss himself barulah boleh dapat lebih itupun after threathening to go to consumer tribunal. I still feel of being 'cheated' because i'm still paying so much for a maid who cant work and only stayed for a week (boleh bayar 3 bulan salary maid tu), but i guess its better than nothing. My wife pun dah penat and malas nak pikir pasal benda ni, really a waste of time and money. Takperlah, insyaAllah rezeki ada kat tempat lain.
