Nine words women use...

1.) Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up. 2.) Five Minutes : If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house. 3.) Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine. 4.) Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It! 5.) Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is standing here arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing.)

6.) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a woman can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake. 7.) Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or Faint. Just say you're welcome. 8.) Whatever: Is a women's way of saying F@!K YOU! 9.) Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking "What's wrong?" For the woman's response refer to #3. Send this to the men you know, to warn them about arguments they can avoid if they remember the terminology. Send this to all the women you know to give them a good laugh, cause they know it's true.

Bus firms face driver shortage, warn of Raya crunch

Source: TheStar Online

PENANG: Express bus companies are facing a shortage of drivers, thanks to Ops Bersih.

Some drivers have gone AWOL for fear of being caught by the authorities for various offences, resulting in several bus companies having to cancel trips.

The companies are also saying that if the situation continued, it could affect the coming balik kampung rush for Hari Raya because there might not be enough drivers and buses to meet the surge in demand.

Konsortium Express Penang manager Albert Chew said his company was having problems getting replacement drivers after 20 of its 140 drivers went missing after Ops Bersih started on Aug 22. [read full article here]

Rumsfield resigned.... TOO MUCH PRESSURE?

Source: Al-Jazeera Online [read full article here]

The disclosure that Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld resigned on Nov. 6, 2006 -- the day before the election, not the day after as previously thought -- means that he was pushed out of his job the same day he suggested a de-escalation of the Iraq War.

When Rumsfeld's resignation was announced on Nov. 8, with both his resignation letter and his de-escalation memo still secret, it was widely assumed in Washington political circles that President George W. Bush was reacting to the stinging Republican electoral defeat on Nov. 7 and was appointing Robert Gates as an olive branch to the Democrats.

EPL Preview & Update 27 August 2007

Manchester City unbeaten run was put to bed by Arsenal who just managed a narrow 1-0 win. A goal by Fabregas was the difference in Emirates Stadium. David James thought he could well replace Robinson after another howler by first choice England keeper, but his mistake against Lampard shot could give McLaren a headache ahead of their Euro qualifier. Liverpool also had an easy 2 - 0 win against Sunderland with new boy Voronin scoring and the other by Sissoko. Manchester United looking for their first win at home to Spurs and Nani saved them with a goal after 68 minutes. Manchester United 1 Spurs 0 All win for top 4 teams this weekend.. Next week fixtures Manchester United vs. Sunderland Arsenal vs. Portsmouth Aston Villa vs. Chelsea Liverpool vs. Derby On paper Chelsea have the trickiest tie against Aston Villa as other teams should be cruising with home game. Quote of the week WENGER: 'When I saw my Dutch striker step up to face Schmeichel from the penalty spot, my memories went back to Dennis Bergkamp and an FA Cup semi-final against Manchester United back in 1999,' said the Arsenal boss with a chuckle. 'Then Schmeichel saves again. I just hope I don't have to meet his grandson in 20 years time.'

After the beginning

By Zenoni [read full article here] Last night i had been given a chance to teach by Allah SWT in a tuition centre at Sri Rampai,KL. I had three class starting at 8pm in two hours. Alhamdulillah, the last one was in front of around twelve naïve 13 years old kids with different believes. Their usual tutor was Teacher Khairul; as he was absent, I came in as a replacement. Topic for that class was energy. As a cracker, i asked them did they believe God? All nodded. Okay, i said to them, i would tell them a story. To begin my story, i started with when God wanted to create the universe, God gave a very, very strong energy to start the creation. This energy could not be destroyed, it would only kept changing and changing into other energies. Thus with this energy, all the planets, all the moons, all the stars, and everything else was created, i continued. Then why, why didn't we received this energy from God directly from the sky? i asked them. Without waiting for them to think, i continued, it is because we, mankind, could not bear the power of God. Even a mountain would melt into dust not able to hold the power of this energy from God. But God had a way for us to receive this energy. How? i continued... it was through the sun. The sun received the power of God and it exploded into fusion. The explosion sent radiation and billions of tonnes of charged particles streaming into space. Alhamdulillah, we sleep soundly every night. If not, Boom!! Boom!! Boom!! What's that bang, the sun is exploding. Sound energy couldn't travel in space. [read more here]

Living the Quran

Surah al-Balad (The City) Chapter 90: Verses 17-18

Effects of Mercy "Then will he be of those who believe, and enjoin patience, (constancy, and self-restraint), and enjoin deeds of kindness and compassion. Such are the Companions of the Right Hand."

The Muslim is merciful, for mercy is one of the traits of a Muslim, since it is the source of a pure soul and spirit. By being kind, doing righteous deeds, staying away from evil, and shunning corruption, the Muslim's soul abides in purity and his spirit remains in goodness. Since this is the case, then mercy would never separate from his heart at all. It is for this reason that the Muslim loves mercy, he spreads and encourages it and calls others to it.

Since the reality of mercy is a kindness of the heart and compassion of the soul that leads to being forgiving and beneficent, it does not merely exist as internal kindness without external results. Rather the heart's mercy is the essence of external results whose physical reality is visible. Among the external effects of mercy are: pardoning those who slip, forgiving those who are mistaken, helping those in trouble, assisting the weak, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, tending to the sick, and consoling the grieved. All of these, as well as many other things are among the effects of mercy.

Move your butt!!!

I know most of us work in a sedentary environment, i.e. duduk depan komputer from morning to evening. We are actually risking our body and making ourselves susceptible to backache and gluteal muscles atrophy, which loosely translates to sakit bontot. I was searching for lower body muscle groups when I came across this article on Wikipedia. My hubby complained about sakit bontot a few weeks ago and I told him I think you sit too long. After reading this article, I realized that there's some truth in what I said to him although at that time, I was rambling and making up my own theory. Can you imagine that one of your muscles actually forgot how it is supposed to work? For example, your butt muscle or the gluteals forget that it is supposed to move your femur/thigh bones in order for you to climb the stairs. Tak kisah la kalo bontot dah kembang dan out of shape.. but can you imagine yourself unable to walk? That is why we have to make sure that our gluteal muscles don't forget what they are supposed to do and to keep reminding the muscles is simple - remember to MOVE IT! Simple exercises that we can do at work(or home) are climbing stairs and if you have a bike, go cycling! Maybe not the beratus-ratus kilometer kinda cycling, but enough to keep the butt muscles moving. We can couple the exercise with massages and stretching. Stretching will make the muscles supple and more flexy. Just stretch slowly until you feel a little tightness on your butt area. As for massage, takut korang tak tahan la kena lenjan dengan tukang urut. Kalo sakit bontot agak severe, buleh lunyai dibuatnya.. haha Article on gluteal or butt muscles here. Don't forget to move your butt!! :)

EPL Preview & Update

Manchester United is in searching for striker after Rooney was injured for at least two months and Ronaldo is suspended for 3 games starting away to Manchester derby last week. Options to be said are Martins from Newcastle United (who has release clause of 13 million pound) and Anelka of Bolton (believed to be around 12 million pound). Meanwhile Chelsea has agreed to sell Arjen Robben to Real Madrid for a fee of 24 million pounds with Belleti of Barcelona coming to Chelsea to fill right back position. Transfer of Robben cause mixed feeling between Chelsea fan, citing Chelsea should done more to keep him. However with Robben barely fit in the past two seasons could be the reason for some Chelsea fan willing to let him go. His father acted as his agent was stalling the contract and demand to be paid in similar bracket as Terry and Lampard. The move for Belleti really shocked Chelsea fan when the rumours are to be believed chasing Alves of Sevilla. No deals for Liverpool and Arsenal as transfer market shut in a weeks time Friday 31 August 2007 at 12:00am

Delivery option, private or goverment hospital

by Dr Salehudin (Paedetrician of Kajang Hosp). Disclaimer: This is a guideline only, please consult your beloved families before making any decisions. The choice is yours. Points to consider: 1.Kos - ko ada brape ribu dalam poket utk persediaan bayaran kos perubatan di hospital? Kalau nak private, make sure u have ENOUGH money to cover for bersalin secara c-section (bedah la tuh), sebab >50% of the case will proceed to dewan bedah.. because of various reason, but mainly because of MONEY. tapi tak berhenti takat tuh.. kene pikir kos utk rawatan baby yg akan lahir. mintak dijauhkan, baby ada kemungkinan lemas atau tak sihat, dan memerlukan rawatan lanjut. so, koman2 pun kene bagi antibiotics. kalau lebih teruk, kene bagi alat pernafasan dan masuk ICU. kalau masuk ICU dan ventilate (ie bagi pernafasan sokongan), kurang2 kosnya RM 1000 sehari.. so kalau dok ICU 5 hari, RM 5K la. kalau tak nak sediakan banyak tu, tak payah bersalin kat swasta. 2. Kesihatan semasa mengandung, dan juga sejarah kesihatan - Kalau ada komplikasi mengandung eg darah tinggi/ kencing manis, better gi gomen. sebab? refer next point 3. Equipment - Ni no doubt kat hospital kerajaan memang better than swasta. tapi aku advise hosp kerajaan yg besar, bukan hosp daerah (selain selangor), sebab hosp daerah biasanya kala ada kes2 kompilikasi, kene hantor hosp besar jugak. 4. Service/layanan - Generally speaking, service di hosp kerajaan digembar gemburkan 'not friendly' berbanding swasta. tapi terpulang kpd u sendiri la.. kalau di gomen, memang misi kat bilik bersalin ni garang skit.. so kengkadang kene tahan telinga skit. tapi tak semua. Alhamdulillah Mas bersalin kat hosp kerajaan for both our children. 1st kat Putrajaya, 2nd kat Hosp KB. kat Putrajaya, bagus, dan kat KB pun bagus. cuma susah skit kalau visitor nak masuk la.. bit restricted, tak macam swasta. 5. Staff qualification - Kalau bersalin biasa, misi kat kerajaan memang terer giler, berbanding misi kat swasta. ada hosp swasta yg mana misinya hanyalah budak2 lepasan SPM (takde qualification nursing langsung). unless kalau doktor yg deliver, tapi still u need a good team to work. 6. Point2 lain - Antara point lain yg perlu difikirkan, spt mudah family nak ziarah etc. Ada jugak di hosp kerajaan esp HUKM and UMMC yg menawarkan khidmat swasta (private wing), iaitu guna kemudahan hosp tu, tapi berbayar dengan rate swasta. tapi aku LANGSUNG tak advice option ni. Kalau timbang semua tuh, aku lebih advise HOSP KERAJAAN lah.. lebih2 lagi kalau ada antara kengkawan kita yg jadi doktor sakit puan/perbidanan dan doktor kanak2 kat situ.. so mudah nak tolong skit.. cthnya kat Kajang (not advisable) and HUKM. kat hosp lain, kene cek dalam blog MRSM taiping la.. Wallahu a'lam

Malay kids most abused

MALAY children made up the majority of child abuse cases reported to the Welfare Department.

Story of a School Teacher

Here is the story of an elementary school teacher: Her name is Mrs. Norman. As she stood in front of her primary five class on the very first day of school, she told the children a lie. Like most teachers, she looked at her students and said that she loved them all the same. But that was impossible, because there in the front row, slumped in his seat, was a little boy named Harry Adams. Mrs. Norman had watched Harry the year before and noticed that he did'nt play well with the other children, that his clothes were messy and that he constantly needed a bath. And Harry could be unpleasant. It got the point where Mrs. Norman would actually take delight in marking his papers with a broad red pen, making bold X's and then putting a big " F " at the top of his papers. At the school where Mrs. Norman taught, she was required to review each child's past records and she put Harry' s off until last. However, when she reviewed his file, she was in for a surprise. Harry's primary one teacher wrote, "Harry is a bright child with a ready laugh. He does his work neatly and has good manners.... he is a joy to be around." His primary two teacher wrote, "Harry is an excellent student, well-liked by his classmates, but he is troubled because his mother has a terminal illness and life at home must be a struggle." His primary three teacher wrote, "His mother's death has been hard on him. He tries to do his best, but his father doesn't show much interest and his home life will soon affect him if some steps aren't taken." Harry's primary four teacher wrote," Harry is withdrawn and doesn't show much interest in school. He doesn't have many friends and he sometimes sleeps in class." By now, Mrs. Norman realized the problem and she was ashamed of herself. She felt even worse when her students brought her Teachers' Day presents wrapped in beautiful ribbons and bright paper, except for Harry's. His present was clumsily wrapped in the heavy brown paper that he got from a grocery bag. Mrs. Norman took pains to open it in the middle of the other presents. Some of the children started to laugh when she found a rhinestone bracelet with some of the stone missing, and a bottle that was one quarter full of perfume. But she stifled the children's laughter when she exclaimed how pretty the bracelet was, putting it on, and dabbing some of the perfume on her wrist. Harry Adams stayed after school that day just long enough to say, "Mrs. Norman, today you smelled just like my Mom used to." After the children left she cried for at least an hour. On that very day, she quit teaching reading, writing and arithmetic. Instead, she began to teach children. Mrs. Norman paid particular attention to Harry. As she worked with him, his mind seemed to come alive. The more she encouraged him, the faster he responded. By the end of the year, Harry had become one of the smartest children in the class and, despite her lie that she would love all the children the same, Harry became one of her "Teacher's Pets." A year later, she found a note under her door, from Harry, telling her that she was still the best teacher he ever had in his whole life. Six years went by before she got another note from Harry. He then wrote that he had finished sixth form third in his class, and she was still the best teacher he ever had in his whole life. Four years after that, she got another letter, saying that while things had been rough at times, he'd stayed in school, stuck with it, and would soon graduate from university with highest of honors. He assured Mrs. Norman that she was still the best and favorite teacher he'd ever had in his whole life. Then four more years passed and yet another letter came. This time he explained that after he got his bachelor's degree, he decided to go a little further. The letter explained that she was still the best and favorite teacher he'd ever had. But now his name was a little longer - the letter was signed, Harry Adams, MD. The story doesn't end there. You see, there was yet another letter that year. Harry said he'd met this girl and was going to be married. He explained that his father had died a couple of years earlier and he was wondering if Mrs. Norman might agree to sit in the place at the wedding which was usually reserved for the mother of the groom. Of course, Mrs. Norman did. And guess what? She wore that bracelet, the one with several rhinestones missing. And she made sure she was wearing the perfume that Harry remembered his mother wearing on their last moments together. They hugged each other, and Dr. Adams whispered in Mrs. Norman's ear, "Thank you, Mrs. Norman for believing in me. Thank you so much for making me feel important and showing me that I could make a difference." Mrs. Norman, with tears in her eyes, whispered back, "Harry, you have it all wrong. You were the one who taught me that I could make a difference. I didn't know how to teach until I met you." Morale of the story Please remember that wherever you go, and whatever you do, you will have the opportunity to touch and/or change a person's outlook. It is you. Please try to do it in a positive way.

One dead, 28 injured in express bus crash

Source: The Star

KUALA LUMPUR: An express bus crashed at KM30.3 of the Gua Musang-Kuala Krai highway in Kelantan at 1am Tuesday.

One passenger died and 28 others were injured.

The driver fled from the scene, police said.

Hari tu kata satu bas ada kemalangan jiwa, nak suspend the bus operator... Jom kita pakat tengok!!!

THAT'S WHAT I LOVE ABOUT MALAYSIA

My co. manage to secure a work permit for a British guy, and now we are in process of applying for his spouse visa. Everything went smoothly until the Immigration Officer said we have to certify his marriage certificate. I said, OK. So I went to British High Commission in Jalan Ampang, the Consular said they do not CERITFY any certs. GREAT... and he suggested I go to JPN because the marriage certificate is issued by JPN. (The guy got married here in Malaysia).. I said, OK... I drove from Jalan Ampang to PJ Hilton (that's the nearest JPN I know apart from Shah Alam), and I was entertained by a lady who informed me they do not CERTIFY any certs. DOUBLE GREAT!! In fact I need an EXTRACT which their branch do not do.. I have to go to Putrajaya or Shah Alam. But in this case I CAN'T because the person himself has to go to the JPN counter. I said, NOT OK, My big fat question is, WHY Immigration did not give specific instruction on what should we do? Is it because they had no FUN at the office? Would they want to be in our shoes, running like headless chicken trying to get ONE certificate VERIFIED? I think that's the culture here, people expect you to know everything! That's what I love about Malaysia... ----- Update: I guess it's just a minority who's doing what I just said. I have been liaison with one great lady by the name of Puan Karimah from Immigration Department, and she is the best government personnel that I have encountered with. Everytime I gave her a call with few questions, she always keep her voice low when precisely answering all my queries and very friendly AT ALL TIMES. Sadly I think she has moved to another department or resign from the post because when I called, nobody pick up the phone. When I managed to obtain a letter from Immigration Department, it's shown a different contact person. That's what I love about Malaysia....

EPL weekend review

On paper, Manchester United has the most attacking team but they yet to manage a win in their previous 2 games. Manchester derby could be a tonic for the Champion to show their true class however Sven side has other ideas. It was a different style of play for City, more on possession football rather than Stuart Pearce long ball program. Sven bought well (so far), players like Petrov and Elana are very comfortable with the ball. Goal from Geovanni plus Micah Richards heroic performance made the day to remember for the blue half of Manchester. City beat United 1-0 It was also a day to remember for Liverpool fan when Torres paid a big chunk on his transfer fee by scoring his first at Anfield. Ben Haim thought he got Torres covered but the Spaniard past him like no one was there. A controversial penalty by Finnan on Malouda marred the below par performance by Chelsea but a well taken penalty by Frank Lampard meant a point shared between two giants. For me Malouda simply want to roll the ball to Drogba who was unmark at far post. It's just the referee saw it as a foul on the Chelsea forward. Not forgetting Jen 'clown' Lehmann done it again!! He flapped Dunn shot into his own net after his 'comical' clearance to Healy against Fulham last week. Blackburn was on their routine game play, physical and hard tackling but 'goal' by Lehmann means a draw for Gunners after van Persie gave them a lead. Maybe now is the time for Wenger to find a replacement keeper after finally shipped out another 'comical' player in Cygan...

Tak tahu bertanya,

Sesat jalan nanti merana,

Tutup mata tutup telinga”

Bahalol, XPDC (Album – Kita Pengyu)

Hey bonggol, banyak bonggol,

jangan sondol, nanti terlanjur,

Hey, bengang, dah lama bengang,

sudah tak boleh nak buat apa,

aku tak nak jadi soh chai, tak nak jadi soh chai”

Step 1: Go to http://www.utorrent.com/download.php download and install this software.

Step 2: Run the program – go to Option, Preference, Download,

here you can set where to put the downloaded files. Please create/use two folders. One is for

new unfinished download, and the other one where you want it to be stored when the download

is finish.

Step 3: Go to these trusted site:

  1. http://www.islamictorrents.net/ - register, login, then click to torrent icon, it will show list of files available. There is also a search box here. Click to any files, browse down, search for an underlined bold text that has *.torrent extension, click it, save to folder to download later or set to open with”utorrent” which will be easier as you will immediately put it into the utorrent software.

  2. http://www.mininova.org/ - no registration required. Follow instruction at no. 1.

    (movie,ebook, software etc)

  3. http://btjunkie.org/ - no registration required. Follow instruction at no. 1.

    (best movie site)

  4. http://www.eztvefnet.org/frontpage.php - no registration required. Follow instruction at no. 1.

(best tv site, always the latest, so be quick to download because if you wait for two or three

days, seeders will be low and it will take much longer time to complete downloading)

  1. http://www.xtvi.com/index.php?mode=&id= - no registration required. Another tv sites.

If your turn on to conspiratorial documentaries, here is a good site.

  2. http://conspiracycentral.net

registration required. Sometimes this site got hack by so please wait one or two days for it to recover. It always does. Trust me.

  3. http://onebigtorrent.org/index.php

Tips:

Be the one who download early. Check the sites everyday. Cause it will determine the time you'll complete downloading.

Always read others commentaries. Some people are bad. They are offering fake files just to disrupt this nice community. Just remember to download video files the extension are *.avi, *.bin, *.mp4, *.mpeg and not other such as *.rar. Normal size for a movie is about 700 – 800MB, download DVD copy for best quality. Usual size of half an hour TV show is around 350MB, which always a good quality (HDTV). Extra careful when you download software, be sure to know what you are downloading, always read the comments. Or you may end with virus/trojan.

Here is also a movie player that is small in size but plays all kind of movies:

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Disclaimer:

All sites and softwares stated above are trusted, very useful and had been used by the author for quite some times. Good things in life is free and we share. So, don't be those who oppose, just follow the flow.

Hassan al-Banna

Hasan al-Banna was the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood or Society of the Muslim Brothers, the largest and most influential Sunni revivalist organization in the 20th century. Created in Egypt in 1928, the Muslim Brotherhood became the first mass-based, overtly political movement to oppose the ascendancy of secular and Western ideas in the Middle East. The brotherhood saw in these ideas the root of the decay of Islamic societies in the modern world, and advocated a return to Islam as a solution to the ills that had befallen Muslim societies. Al-Banna's leadership was critical to the spectacular growth of the brotherhood during the 1930s and 1940s. By the early 1950s, branches had been established in Syria, Sudan, and Jordan. Soon, the movement's influence would be felt in places as far away as the Gulf and non-Arab countries such as Iran, Pakistan, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Driving this expansion was the appeal of the organizational model embodied in the original, Egypt-based section of the brotherhood, and the success of al-Banna's writings. Translated into several languages, these writings have shaped two generations of Sunni religious activists across the Islamic world. [read more here]
